We live in interesting times.
When one describes
Obama's policies as "clueless", one assumes that his
intention is to increase the US prosperity. One
should at least consider that his intention may be
to destroy the US as it has existed and replace it
with a socialist state. His socialist mother,
father, grandparents, and mentors have taught him
well.
Far from being
clueless, his policies have been overwhelmingly
successful! Saul Alinsky would be very proud of his
student.
Obama's use of the
federal budget is only one of his tools. For
example, his 2010 budget includes a
trillion-dollar-plus deficit that will bankrupt
America -- even before the compounding of interest
gets applied before it could possibly be paid off.
Obama's overhaul and
reconfiguration of health care, energy programs and
education mean more government control from school
indoctrination to hospitalization of the elderly.
Obama handlers, Bill
Ayers & others whose names Americans may never
learn, have instructed him and hold him in tight
rein even as he occupies the office of the
president.
If Obama can
"temporarily" postpone the November 2010 elections
due to riots and unrest, he may well become
President-for-life.
Obama is using his
powers as president to restructure America from
capitalism to socialism. Now in office, he is
growing government powers beyond socialism toward
the standard Lenin-style Communism.
Intention
Obama
has openly and repeatedly stated that he
believes in -- and intends to --
"redistribute" from those who earn to
those who fail to earn.
Redistribution requires force to take
from those who own. That process is
preceded by removal of individual rights
& control of peoples' decisions and
abilities by the government.
Obama
is using his powers as president to
implement the agenda he has been taught.
Obama
was taught by his teenage mentor Frank
Marshall Davis, his 20-year-long
religious mentor, Reverend Wright, and
by his studies of the Alinsky Method.
There is nothing clueless in
Obama's objectives.
There is nothing
clueless about Obama's intentions regarding the
financial system. He believes, like all socialists,
that government knows best in all things. They
believe the ruling elite are the only ones who can
make the proper decisions given their obviously
superior intellect. The general populace is spoon
fed only what is deemed proper for them to know,
thus ensuring the government's grip on power. Look
at how the governments of Venezuela, Zimbabwe, Cuba
or Argentina function. All decisions, on all
essential matters, flow from a single or small group
of power elite. At the end of the day, that is the
model Obama is trying to emulate.
Unfortunately for
Obama, as the current financial system exists, most
decisions are based on the free markets and supply
and demand. Information flows freely and the public,
via ownership in stocks and bonds of the financial
institutions, decides what investments will succeed
or fail over time. It's called the free market.
Where government does
intervene in this process, to enforce a particular
agenda via regulations or restrictions, you usually
see what Washington refers to as unintended
consequences down the road. The creation of the sub
prime mortgage market and enforcement by government
regulation for banks to support it, in order to
achieve a desired social outcome, is one such
example. We are now living -- or should I say,
suffering -- through the unintended consequences of
what those in government could not see as the
obvious outcome.
Clueless?
Now
think of a financial system where the
government has total control over all
investment decisions.
Where
there is no push back from the private
sector.
Where
people have no say where and how their
money is invested or spent.
Where
"for the good of the people" is the
rationale used to justify everything by
the government.
That
is the ultimate goal here. There is
nothing clueless in Obama's objectives.
Using Fear To Gain Power & Reduce Americans' Confidence & Self-reliance
"Fear is running the
show" says one economist. It may be heretical to say
it but perhaps if the government didn't speak
constantly of "catastrophe" if the bail out bill
isn't passed with every dollar in there, "fear"
wouldn't be playing such a big role in the job
market.
Yes, things are bad.
But the genius of an FDR or Reagan was their ability
to rally the country in bad economic times by
telling the truth about conditions but making the
people feel confident that they could overcome the
problems facing them and succeed.
No one has any
confidence in this crew in the White House because
they have been badmouthing the economy for 2 years,
trying to scare people first, to vote for them, and
now, to pass a pork laden stimulus package. In
essence, Obama is the anti-FDR who instead of saying
"All we have to fear is fear itself" tells us, as Ed
Morrissey so succinctly puts it "The sky is falling!
The sky is falling!"
Obama doesn't want us
to believe in ourselves. He wants us to believe in
him. This is the way of the autocrat not a great
president.

Even though you don't
smoke, even though smoking is a dirty, stinky habit,

habit, there are other rights that you care about.
Those are closer to being taken from you due to
Dingell's power.
Dingell's proposed
legislation has more to do with Congress controlling
your life and pleasures than about only your right
to smoke. Representative John Dingell appears to
believe that Congress should regulate and control
all aspects of your life and only he and his
associates know what is good and bad for you. Does Dingell
realize that many children, teenagers, and adults
know where in their neighborhoods they can buy
cocaine and other genuinely destructive drugs?

Michelle Obama, First Lady, has
words for you.
In Los Angeles, she
lectured:
"Barack Obama
will require you to work. He is going to demand
that you shed your cynicism. That you put down
your divisions. That you come out of your
isolation, that you move out of your comfort
zones. That you push yourselves to be better.
And that you engage. Barack will never allow you
to go back to your lives as usual, uninvolved,
uninformed."
Issue & Consequence >>> If Democrats win
more power in the US Congress -- both Senate &
House -- taxes will be increased. This will depress the economy.
Tax increases also provide more money for handouts to those
less-willing to work but willing to take from successful people.

Obama is to run as a Man and Leader, and the American

is a Presidential race, based solely on a capacity to
lead the United States of America. It is not about skin
tone...however, perhaps we should come to expect these
immature statements.
